The following rates, which have been approved by the Renfrew County District School Board, are adhered to and implemented by the Community Use of Schools rental office. They are subject to review and updated periodically. Appeals regarding fees will be granted only in exceptional circumstances.
FACILITY RENTAL FEES
Typically the following facilities are approved for community use. If you wish to use another facility please contact the Rental Office.  Should you be unsure which category your organization falls under, please refer to the User Group Category chart on the Rent a Facility page of this website or contact the Rental Office.

STAFFING FEES
When custodians are regularly on duty, no charge related to the use of the facility shall be levied unless additional assistance is required. Callout charges apply (minimum 4 hours) when hours worked are not continuous with a scheduled shift.

ADMINISTRATIVE FEES

Cancellation Fee: Refund of rental charges will be made ONLY if the rental office is notified at least three days before the event occurs.

"No-Show'Fee: The first 'No-Show' will incur a charge of $25.00 + applicable fees (rental and staffing). The second 'No-Show' will also incur a $25.00 charge + applicable fees. If there is a third 'No-Show' then there will be a $50.00 charge + applicable fees and the remainder of the permit will be cancelled.

Alteration Fee: Organizations who alter their permit will be granted one free alteration, additional alterations will incur a $10 processing fee.

NSF Service Charge: The organization will be informed of receipt of the NSF notice and requested to re-issue payment with an additional charge of $40.00.

Security Deposit: A $500 deposit may be required for auditorium and large event rentals.


EQUIPMENT RENTALS

With the exception of bleachers, basketball nets and room dividers currently available on-site, the use of school equipment is at the discretion of the school principal and must be arranged in advance of the permit start date.

The set-up of equipment (other than opening/closing bleachers, raising/lowering basketball nets & opening/closing room dividers) is the responsibility of the applicant, under the supervision of a school board representative, unless other arrangements have been made.

NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATUS
In order to claim Not-for-Profit status you must submit either:
  • A registered charitable organization number, or;
  • If incorporated, a copy of "Letters Patent",
  • If not incorporated, a fiscal financial statement and an affidavit from the Executive Director confirming status as a not-for-profit organization is required.
