APPLICATIONS

Occasional Teacher Application

The Occasional Teacher application consists of the following eight documents. Please complete each document prior to submitting the application to the Renfrew County District School Board.

  2. 2009-2010 Occasional Teacher Application (two pages)
  3. Occasional Teacher Federation Form (one page)
  4. Offence Declaration (two pages)
  5. Direct Deposit Form (one page)
  6. TD1 (two pages)
  7. TD1ON (two pages)
  8. Elementary Casual/Occasional Information (six pages)

EXTERNAL POSTINGS

If there are no qualified applicants within the Board then the job opportunity may then be advertised externally. Anyone who meets the qualifications and is interested may then submit a resume and covering letter with any required supporting documentation. Generally, an external vacancy will be open a minimum of three working days and will be advertised in the following sources:

Condition of Employment

Anyone offered a position with the Renfrew County District School Board will be required to complete the Pre-Employment Process for the Board. The Pre-Employment Process includes providing the Board with references, a Criminal Reference Check, and a job related medical note. In all cases the required information and forms will be provided before the successful applicant will be allowed to assume their duties. Information about these requirements will be provided at the time of any offer of employment.

Practice Regarding Receipt of Applications:

  • The Renfrew County District School Board does not accept unsolicited resumes and does not return resumes to applicants
  • Contact will only be made with applicants that are receiving an interview
  • Applications are destroyed 1 year following the interview process
  • If applying for a specific job posting the application must comply with the requirements of that job posting.
