Do I need a Criminal Background Check (CBC)?

In accordance to Provincial Legislation all potential employees of the Board must submit a CBC (dated within the last 6 months) that is acceptable to the Board.

How can I get the forms I need to complete my teaching application?

If you are wishing to apply for RCDSB ELEMENTARY Occasional Teacher positions then direct your inquiry to the Human Resources Department at the RCDSB Administration Office. Enrolment packages are available upon request and also at school offices.

Elementary Occasional Teachers require the following:

• Ontario College of Teacher's Membership Certificate (In good standing of the current year)
• Ontario College of Teacher's Qualification Record Card
• Pracitice Teaching Record/Performance Appraisal
• QECO (certificate/letter)
• University Transcripts
• Criminal Background Check (CBC) (within last 6 months)
• Other applicable payroll documentation

If you are wishing to apply for RCDSB Secondary Occasional Teacher positions then direct your inquiry to the individual secondary schools. Lists are maintained at the schools independent of the Board Office.
