Special
Events
At MV, there's always
something going on! Guest speakers, field trips, fundraisers
and hosting our feeder schools link our students and staff
with the larger community.
Every year, the LINK crew
(consisting of upper-year students) leads a variety of events
to help connect our grade nines with other students and with
opportunities for fun and support.
Our Specialist High School
Majors program offers focussed opportunities for our senior
students to learn and gain certifications within a specific
area of study.
We also keep our MV school
spirit strong with spirit days and fun events like dances
and sports competitions. Our four houses -- Algonquin, Bonnecherre,
Kamaniskeg and Opeongo -- join in friendly competition throughout
the year.
